How to add a 3rd Party IP Camera to a Hikvision NVR

How to add a 3rd Party IP Camera to a Hikvision NVR.

In this example we will add the 4MP Covert PIR IP Camera with built in Audio, IR & PoE,  to a Hikvision NVR.

1. Log into your Hikvision NVR and go the Menu option & click on Camera

 2. Select an empty camera channel and select by ticking it on the left:

 Click on Edit for the channel selected (next to the IP adress)

Change the settings as below:
These settings are for the Netview CCTV 4MP Covert PIR IP Camera with built in Audio, IR & PoE. 
Other 3rd party cameras will use a different port , normally this can be set to port 80
